No-one came back to me with any suggestions for a new project following my last post documenting my return to Croydon, so here I am again going on about the trip that just keeps on giving.
I said in one of my earlier posts that I had some photos that were not available at the time of writing and that I would post them later. It is now later. I also have a lot of transparencies from the trip, but I have not yet got around to digitalising them. Wow, maybe something else to look forward to!
The first image is of my face to face encounter with a cow on Mount Srd high above the beautiful old city of Dubrovnik, as referenced on Day 16.

The next two images were taken in Matala, showing some of the guys I was hanging out with. To my shame, I only recognise Jim in Textiles from Atlanta – he is wearing the hat. I refer to him quite a bit during the trip, and he and Minnesotta Mike came to visit me in the UK. The shot under the tree shows our little camp on Matala beach. The red sleeping bag hanging up to air is mine – inside out, it was actually blue. And I think that is the rest of my washing hanging next to it – I recognise the yellow t-shirt.

And the final bonus item for today is an image of my YHA card, showing stamps from Geneve, Dubrovnik, Olympia, Athens – and Goudhurst in Kent. Truly an international traveller! I forgot my hair was long before the trip started, but I did acquire a rather unruly beard. Maybe other photos will come to light!

The journey never ends….
